Yankey Engineering × Taoyuan Local Industry Expo

The 2nd Taoyuan Local Industry Expo opened on March 12 at National Central University. The event was jointly organized by the Taoyuan City Government and the TSMC Charity Foundation. As one of TSMC’s core supply chain partners, Yankey Engineering was also invited by TSMC’s Materials & Supply Chain Management Division to participate in the exhibition, showcasing its professional expertise in semiconductor facility engineering and electromechanical integration to young students.

Mrs. Sophie Chang, Chairperson of the TSMC Charity Foundation, mentioned that the high-tech industry is currently facing global competition, AI transformation, and a growing talent gap. Therefore, the industry supply chain must enter campuses earlier and more proactively. She emphasized that “young people should realize earlier that technology is not something distant—it exists around their daily lives and will also be an important option for their future.”
This year’s job expo therefore features suppliers entering vocational high school learning environments, giving students an earlier opportunity to outline their career paths while bringing together world-class supplier teams to create more employment opportunities.

During an interview, Chairman Liu Shih-Yuan of Yankey Engineering stated that Taiwan’s high-tech industry has risen to the level of national strategic importance, and talent is the key driving force behind the industry. He hopes students will actively participate in career exploration activities and corporate internships to better understand industry trends and discover their own interests. He also expressed gratitude to the Taoyuan City Government and the TSMC Charity Foundation for building a platform that connects enterprises with the new generation, fostering dialogue and deeper engagement.

The Taoyuan Local Industry Expo officially opened yesterday at National Central University!
This year’s event is jointly organized by the Taoyuan City Government and the TSMC Charity Foundation, with 36 companies participating. As one of TSMC’s key supply chain partners, Yankey Engineering was invited by TSMC’s Materials & Supply Chain Management Division to exhibit, allowing students to see the most authentic side of Taiwan’s technology industry.

The Chairman also attended the opening ceremony and shared three important perspectives during an interview:

Young people are encouraged to attend expos and take part in corporate internships. Through real-world exposure, they can better understand the semiconductor industry chain and discover the career paths they truly enjoy. Vocational high school students, in particular, gain an early opportunity to explore their future careers.
